The Ukrainian military’s air defenses intercepted all missiles, but debris from downed missiles caused damage to port infrastructure and homes. Russia claimed to have destroyed facilities involved in preparing “terrorist acts” using unmanned boats. Earlier, Ukraine reported shooting down 21 drones aimed at Odesa. This retaliation follows the attack on the Crimean bridge, with Russia blaming Kyiv. The tense situation led to Russia pulling out of a U.N.-backed grain export deal with Ukraine, raising concerns about global food supplies.
