The Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office revealed that Lisa Marie Presley, the daughter of rock ‘n’ roll icon Elvis Presley, died at age 54 from natural causes attributed to a small bowel obstruction.

The obstruction was a result of adhesions developed after undergoing bariatric surgery several years ago. The autopsy report stated that such complications are infrequent, and Presley’s death occurred after being rushed to a California hospital in cardiac arrest. Lisa Marie Presley, a singer and songwriter, her funeral took place on January 22nd at Graceland and was buried alongside her late son Benjamin Keough who tragically died in 2020. The legal dispute over her estate was resolved in May, following objections from her mother, Priscilla Presley.
