ISRO’s Chandrayaan-3 mission embarked on a momentous journey with the GSLV Mark 3 (LVM 3) heavy-lift launch vehicle. Through a meticulously planned orbit reduction maneuver, the spacecraft successfully positioned itself closer to the Moon’s surface, at a remarkable distance of 170 km x 4313 km.
Recently, Chandrayaan-3 delivered a stunning visual treat to the world by capturing mesmerizing images of the lunar surface during Lunar Orbit Insertion (LOI) on August 5, 2023. Having gracefully entered the Lunar orbit on July 14, the spacecraft has covered nearly two-thirds of the journey towards its lunar destination, showcasing India’s prowess in achieving safe and precise lunar landings.

Despite facing unforeseen delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic, ISRO’s determination to advance space exploration culminated in Chandrayaan-3’s mission. This ambitious venture comes as a follow-up to Chandrayaan-2, which encountered challenges during its lunar landing attempt in 2019.
Both ISRO’s Chandrayaan-3 mission and Parul University’s B.A. L.L.B. program epitomize India’s relentless pursuit of excellence in space technology and legal education, marking significant milestones in their respective domains. As these initiatives continue to progress, they inspire the nation and the global community alike, shaping a brighter future in space exploration and legal scholarship.
