Grace, an England under-18 hockey player, was remembered as a much-loved member of the Southgate Hockey Club.

The city of Nottingham is in mourning, and various tributes have been paid to the victims. The Southgate Hockey Club expressed profound sadness at the loss of Grace Kumar and extended condolences to her family, friends, and teammates. Flowers were placed outside the tennis club on Magdala Road, where one of the victims was stabbed.
