Gigi Hadid Arrested for Marijuana Possession During Cayman Islands Vacation

Supermodel Gigi Hadid and a friend were arrested for marijuana possession in the Cayman Islands after customs officials found found marijuana and related items in her luggage on July 10

They were charged with suspicion of importing marijuana and utensils used for consumption. Along with her friend Leah Nicole McCarthy, they were taken into custody and charged with suspicion of importing marijuana. Released on bail, they later pleaded guilty and received $1,000 fines. Hadid’s representative stated she possessed legally purchased marijuana with a medical license. Despite the incident, Gigi continued her vacation, sharing photos of a new tattoo and enjoying the summer sun on the island.
